Shiora Terms of Use

Here is a brief summary of our terms of use.

Welcome to Shiora! Shiora is operated by JRT Technologies LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms govern your use of the Shiora mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service").

1. Introduction

You must be at least 21 years old to use Shiora in the United States. If you are under 21, you must not use the service. By using Shiora, you confirm that you meet these requirements.

2. User Accounts

To access certain features, you must create an account using your phone number. You agree to:

• Provide accurate information
• Keep your login credentials secure
• Be responsible for all activity under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. User Content

You may post content such as reviews, notes, photos, or feedback (“User Content”). You retain ownership of your content, but by posting it, you grant Shiora a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content within the app.

You agree not to post:

• Content that is offensive, harmful, or illegal
• Infringing or plagiarized content
• Spam, ads, or misleading material

4. Community Guidelines

Shiora is a social space. All users must:

• Respect others’ opinions
• Avoid harassment or discrimination
• Only post content appropriate to the beverage communities you join

Violations may result in removal of content, suspension, or permanent account bans.

4A. Content Moderation and Reporting

Shiora allows users to post notes, reviews, and other community content ("User Content"). We do not pre-screen all User Content, but we reserve the right to review, remove, or restrict access to content that violates these Terms, our Community Guidelines, or applicable law.

Users may report content that they believe is inappropriate, illegal, or violates these Terms. Reported content may be reviewed by automated systems and/or human moderators.

If content is found to violate these Terms, we may take action including removing the content, issuing warnings, temporarily suspending accounts, or permanently banning repeat offenders.

5. Intellectual Property

Shiora and its content (excluding user content) are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of Shiora without our prior written consent.

6. Termination

You may delete your account within the app at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or misuse the service. Upon termination:

• Your right to use the app ends immediately
• All your personal content will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We may retain certain information only as necessary to comply with legal obligations or protect the safety of our users.

7. Disclaimers

Shiora is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee:

• That the app will always be available or error-free
• The accuracy of user-submitted reviews or AI-generated summaries

Use Shiora at your own risk.

8. AI-Generated Content

Certain features of Shiora use automated artificial intelligence systems to analyze user-submitted images and generate product information. AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated.

AI-generated information is provided for informational purposes only. Shiora does not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of such content, and users should independently verify information before relying on it.

You acknowledge that AI-generated outputs are produced by automated systems and that Shiora is not responsible for decisions made based on such outputs.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Shiora will not be liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Loss of data or profits
• Damages arising from your use of or inability to use the app

Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us (if any) in the past 12 months.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Minnesota.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you in the app. Your continued use of Shiora after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
